1. Product
Q: Will Music Lights work with my specific [audio device: TV/Stereo/Game]?
A: Yes, any audio source will work (stereo, TV, video game, PC, iPod, your own singing, etc.). No cables are required, as the Music Lights use a built-in microphone to pick-up ambient sound. The sound sensitivity is adjustable.
Q: How do you assemble multiple HexoLight Music Lights together?
A: Using the built-in tongue and groove system it's easy to reconfigure individual light pods around each controller, and/or to connect multiple 3-pod, 4-pod, or 6-pod HexoLights together. No tools are required but sometimes a little lubricant (soap, hand cream, sunscreen, etc.) can help. In some of the pictures and videos on our site you'll see as many as 12 units (52 light pods) assembled together.
Q: Do Music Lights get hot?
A: No, these Music Lights stay perfectly cool to the touch as they are LED-based. Each light pod uses only about 1W of power, or about one one-hundredth of the power of a regular light bulb. An entire wall of dazzling HexoLight Music Lights might energize a party, but won't make a room any hotter.
2. Shipping
Q: When is shipping free?
A: Shipping is free on orders of two or more Music Lights, for items being shipped to a single contiguous United States address. Free shipping is done via ground service through a carrier of our choice.
Q: What is the shipping policy if I live outside the continental United States?
A: Flat rate/free shipping does not apply to customers in AK, HI or PR, however we do offer affordable shipping rates to those locations. International orders are not accepted at this time (sorry).
3. Order Processing
Q: How can I place an order?
A: Website and phone. We accept all major credit cards. You can either order online through our secure website, or call toll free 1-888-732-0312.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Depending on the shipping method you choose, delivery time will vary. We usually ship the day after receiving your order, however processing can take up to two days.
If you choose Standard Shipping your total delivery time should be 1-2 business days processing time, plus 3-6 business days (shipping time). In other words, you could expect your package to be delivered within 4 to 8 business days of placing your order.
If you choose Expedited Shipping your time to delivery will be reduced accordingly, but please keep in mind that there is no weekend delivery, and that if you order Friday-Sunday your order will be processed Monday and shipped either Monday or Tuesday.
4. Exchanges, Returns and Cancellations
Q: What is the exchanges/returns policy?
A: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, ROCK GEAR is happy to accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase. All items must be returned in an "unused and original condition", in their original packaging.
Step 1. Please call 641-715-3900 x48142 within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain an RMA#.
Step 2. Package item with all packaging material and copy of your packing slip with your RMA number.
Step 3. Ship package through carrier of your choice (we recommend you obtain a tracking number) to:

Customer is responsible for all shipping charges on the returned items unless damaged or shipped incorrectly.
Q: What if an item arrives damaged?
A: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us and we will correct the problem. Please email us at customercare@rockgearshop.com or call 641-715-3900 x48142 to arrange a return or exchange.
Q: How do I cancel an order?
A: Please contact us ASAP as we ship most of our orders within a day. Once an order has been shipped we cannot cancel the order; the customer must return the order for a refund.
